Description

Polyhydroxyalkanoate abbreviated as PHA, is a general term for a class of high molecular weight polyesters synthesized by microorganisms. PHA is made from corn, potato and other starch-based biomass or straw cellulose as raw materials, fermented to produce lactic acid, and further purified and polymerized to prepare high-purity PLA, which is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, antibacterial, flame retardant and good biocompatibility.

ULI-ECO provides technologically advanced PHA injection molding grade, blister grade, blow film grade, foam grade, and other fully biodegradable materials throughout the entire line. PHAs are a type of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) material, which is a biopolymer material directly synthesized by ULI-ECO through microbial fermentation in microorganisms. PHAs have high added value properties such as biocompatibility, biodegradability, and piezoelectric properties. They have good usability and processing properties, and their basic properties are similar to polypropylene. They can be processed and molded using traditional plastic processing equipment such as injection molding, extrusion, film blowing, wire drawing, and molding, and can replace the vast majority of petroleum based plastics. The biodegradation rate of PHAs can be controlled by the composition of their copolymers according to different application needs.

Its degradation performance fully meets the requirements of AST D6400 and EN13432 standards, and has obtained the EU DIN CERTCO (Cert. No.: 7W0127) certificate. Main performance parameters of PHAs: Molecular weight: 1000-1000000 Glass state temperature: -60 ℃ to+60 ℃ Melting point:+40 ℃ to+190 ℃ Crystallinity: 10% to 60% Elongation at break: 5% to 2000% Air to water insulation similar to PET wettability and printability similar to PET and PP, with excellent UV resistance. Stable in water, but biodegradable in seawater and soil. Water phase slurry can form a good film without secondary pollution to the environment.
